Like most great love stories, ours began on an unassuming day at the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory. Dave recalls being a strapping young man, turning heads as he walked through the foyer. While his role that day was limited to watching Tami in court, he recalls doing it well.The sentencing proceedings took many months but at the conclusion, that strapping young man made his subtle and almost imperceptible move. The rest is history.
The Proposal
Again, like the great romances of all time, Dave picked a romantic restaurant (Pee Wees), armed with a beautiful ring. There, he delivered a marriage proposal lacking in romantic sentiment, but accepted nonetheless.
